Shipping Australia - COVID-19 Update

COVID-19 UPDATE:

At this time we remain open and are shipping orders Monday through Friday (excluding public holidays). All orders ship via Australia Post.

At this time, due to freight delays and reduced services, we are unable to guarantee specific delivery timeframes on Australia Post shipments, but expect the majority of nationwide deliveries to occur between 2 - 6 working days depending on location.

In our warehouse, staff are continuing to receive, pack and dispatch orders. We have implemented social distancing measures as well as more stringent hygiene practices and would encourage our contractors and customers to do the same to help slow the spread of this virus.

AUSTRALIA POST UPDATES TO DELIVERIES:


Australia Post are experiencing high volumes of shipments, and reduced service capacity due to airline restrictions, see below from Auspost.

14 April 2020.

Due to reductions in air freight capacity, there may be delays on the letters and parcels network around the country, particularly to regional and rural communities.

Delays will mean:

  • Priority Mail services may be suspended
  • the delivery time for Perth and Brisbane may increase by up to five days
  • the delivery time for North Queensland may increase by up to seven days
  • the delivery times for Tasmania may increase by three days
  • that Next Day Express Post Services into regional and rural communities may not be able to be maintained

We are exploring all available transport alternatives and options, and working with the Australian Government, to minimise impacts for customers.

AUSTRALIA POST UPDATE SIGNATURE REQUIRED: Australia Post are no longer accepting customer signatures for delivery due to COVID-19.

Further, to minimise the risk of contracting or spreading coronavirus, all parcels - be it at a Post Office or at a residence - will no longer require a signature for delivery or collection. Someone will need to be present at the residence for this to occur otherwise standard delivery procedures apply.

In all cases, whether a driver or postie delivers to the door or a customer goes in to their local Post Office to collect a parcel, an Australia Post staff member will ask and record the customer’s name and acknowledge delivery in our system.

The customer will still need to be present for this to occur, but contact will be minimised by either leaving the parcel at the door until the driver or postie has left the premises or left for the customer to pick up on the counter.

Same day shipping cut-off - (10am AEST)

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our Australia Post daily pickup times have changed, and we are also now handling an above average increase in orders. Whilst we strive to dispatch orders quickly, due to the large volume of orders we are processing, plus an earlier daily pickup from our warehouse, it is becoming increasingly more difficult to get 'last minute' orders sent the same day. Orders placed before 10am AEST Monday to Friday are scheduled to be shipped same day (payment by credit card). Orders received after this time will be shipped on the next available shipping day. We will, of course, continue to endeavour to ship orders on the same day that they are placed, however, if you definitely need parts shipped the same day, please make an effort to ensure your order is received before 10am AEST.   Thanks for understanding.

We ship nationwide every day, Monday to Friday. At this time, we are unable to give specific delivery timeframes on Australia Post shipments, but expect the majority of nationwide deliveries to occur between 2 - 6 working days depending on location.

Note: Delivery times are approximations based on the carrier information provided to us. 'Working day' (or business day) universally means a day between and including Monday to Friday, not a weekend or public holiday. The specified approximate working day delivery periods commence the day after your shipment is despatched, not the instant an order is placed.

Additional Information

  • We do not under any circumstance put small items in stamped envelopes and post them, regardless of value. Please do not ask us to do this.
  • Delivery times are approximations based on the carrier information provided to us.
  • Shipping to PO Boxes is accepted.
  • All our shipments are trackable.
  • $15 minimum order.
  • Please Note: We take no responsibility for your package once it is shown as delivered and signed for by AusPost and their 'Proof of Delivery' system.

Please check your tracking details!: Every shipment is trackable, and tracking details are emailed as part of the shipment confirmation email. If an unsuccessful attempted delivery has been made, your package will be carded for collection at your local post shop. If you do not collect, it will be returned to us, and a return to sender charge imposed by Australia Post. We have no choice but to pass on the return to sender charge.
