Refund Policy

The short: You place an order, we ship it, you receive it. If there's an initial problem/fault, we will sort it, otherwise, the parts are yours to keep.. enjoy!

Please read. This applies to all orders:
Once your order is delivered, please check all items immediately and make sure you are 100% happy with the items you have received. If you have received an incorrect item, or believe there is a fault with an item, please contact us immediately with your invoice number.

Returns on items

Due to the nature of the products, we assess requests for returns on a case by case basis. As per Australian consumer law, you are not automatically entitled to return goods for a refund if you have made an incorrect choice, changed your mind or decided you no longer want the goods (known as 'buyers remorse').

- Any request to return an item must be pre authorised by Realtone Music Aus Pty Ltd.
- A return authorisation on an item must be requested within 5 working days of receipt of the item, and the return actioned within 7 working days.
- If an item is returned without prior authorisation, it will be returned to the sender.
- A 15% restocking fee applies to eligible returns.

These items are not eligible for return:

- Tuning machines and bridges / tailpieces are not eligible for return. Please check all dimensions on these products before ordering.
- There are no returns on pickguards for exchange once the packaging is opened, and protective layer removed.
- Any items that have been installed, used and/or damaged in any way are not eligible for exchange, return or refund.
- Electronic parts and pickups cannot be returned for exchange once installed.
- No returns / exchange or replacements are available on items that have been modified in any way.
- Exchanges will not be given on items damaged after delivery or on installation.
- Due to the nature of the product, no returns / exchanges on guitar strings or polish / cleaning products.

Freight on Returns:

- Customers will be responsible for the applicable courier charges on returned items.
- Any credit available on a return item which was originally eligible for free or discounted shipping will be less the original cost of freight.
- If the item eligible for free or discounted shipping is returned for exchange, the replacement item will not be eligible for free shipping, and the credit will be less original cost of freight.
- Any discount received based on dollar value is re-calculated if the discount is no longer applicable.
- A “back-to-base” warranty means that you will need to cover the cost of returning the goods to us for any reason.

Order Cancellations:

- Cancellation of orders prior to dispatch incur a 5% fee to cover warehouse and credit card processing costs incurred.

Please check your tracking details!: If an unsuccessful attempted delivery has been made, your package will be carded for collection at your local post shop. If you do not collect, it will be returned to us, and a return to sender charge imposed by Australia Post. This charge will be passed on.

We highly recommend you engage professional assistance with the installation of any parts, and modifications undertaken. We take no responsibility for parts fitted incorrectly or any damage caused during your own installation, and no warranty will apply in respect of any fault caused by abuse, misuse, or damage through accident, neglect or incorrect installation.
